The Complete Garden Design Service
This service includes initial consultation with you to establish your wants, needs and a budget. At this stage we would also discuss our fee structure and the services we can offer. A full site analysis and survey is carried out and a design brief is developed from the two processes which are then discussed with you.
Concept plans are drawn up with two or three concept ideas presented to you. When once a concept idea has been agreed it is moved forward to develop the master / presentation plan. This is presented to you, described and illustrated so that you can picture what your garden is going to look like.
Finally you are presented with an estimate of build costs if this is required.
We keep you informed throughout the garden design process
Throughout all processes of a full design package we will be communicating with you and keeping you informed of the progress being made. The package builds by having a number of meetings to ensure you are fully aware of what is being proposed and feel a total part of the design process.
What does the Garden Design Package Include?
- Client brief – Initial consultation with client to establish criteria on which a garden design can be based.
- Site survey – To include soil pH, texture, structure and drainage analysis. The production and presentation of a site survey and analysis report with recommendations.
- Design brief – Analysis of both site survey and client brief giving outline proposals from which a garden design may be developed.
- Concept plans – After initial discussions concept ideas are drawn up and discussed with the client. This stage would include basic overview plans, elevations, pictures and samples of proposed products to be used.
- Master/ presentation plan – Production of a full working design plan, to include elevations and construction drawings where appropriate, plus full presentation of the plan to the client.
- Build estimate – Estimate of build costs, to include hard and soft landscaping materials, garden structures and any legal applications that need to be made.
- Construction and planting specification- The production of a full construction and planting specification to be used by the contractor employed to complete the work (if required).
